B+N=baby

I really enjoy photographing maternity shoot because you really get to see so much love as a couple or family is about to bring a precious little baby, little miracle into the world. This couple is just so sweet and they were wonderful to work with. I wish them the best in their new adventure becoming first time parents! Enjoy!

I really enjoyed seeing the reactions from the kids when they saw the baby chicks because each child was different 🙂 I will be blogging more of these sessions as I work on them, but I hope you enjoyed these for now.

C family

I had such a blast with this shoot. Nikki is about to pop at 37 weeks and so ready to welcome her precious little baby into the world and little Mr. Anthony kept me laughing during the whole shoot. They are such a sweet and beautiful family! Like I said I really loved this shoot and I hope that you enjoy these pictures as well 🙂

Young Love

My dear friend and I have kids the same age, only off by a week or so. They have a bit of a love/hate relationship with each other haha but are like best friends. We took them out when Valentine’s day was coming up for a little bit of fun and some pictures. We had no idea how they pictures might turn out since both of them were about to turn 4 and have a mind of their own haha, but they had some fun and there was a little bribery involved with sweet treats, but this is what we ended up with and I hope you enjoy!

S & C

I was very excited to photograph Stephanie yet again, last time we did some family pictures in the fall and this time we went out to get some lovely couple’s pictures before her husband has to deploy. I am always laughing and having fun on a shoot with them, they are such a fun, loving couple! Stephanie is a wonderful mother of three, strong military wife, and a smart business woman who started a wonderful company for business women, which you should all check out(link below). I hope that you all enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed photographing this fun couple!

Homecomings…

Homecomings hold a special place in my heart; partly because I know how it feels to wait for your husband who is in a war-torn country for a year or more and how blessed I felt the day of our homecoming to finally know I was going to have him in my arms at last and that our son who was six months old when he left was finally going to make memories with his daddy finally home to us. I remember trying to ignore reports of servicemen and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice, and be a strong mother and wife for your husband and yourself at the same time. I love to capture that moment when a wife runs to her husband, arms wide open, and you see that raw emotion of utter satisfaction and love and peace to just know he is home, home to her, home to their children, and safe…to finally know that they are safe and in your arms is an indescribable feeling after a long deployment. I love nothing more than to see boys and girls run to their daddy’s and know they are home to them to finally be a family and make life-long memories with their fathers. I love homecomings and to see the true emotion behind what those men and women are truly fighting for…their loved ones back home who love them and wait for them. I leave a homecoming feeling truly blessed to have been part of that day for those people and to capture those oh-so-very precious moments as their lives become whole again.

Here are some photographs from some Homecoming sessions I was blessed to be a part of this past year, and I am am looking forward to many in the future as well!

First post…

I have been putting off starting up a blog because of my crazy busy schedule between my kids, shoots, edits, and duties of a housewife haha.I hope that you enjoy my posts as much as I enjoy photographing my clients! I will be updating this as often as I can and the site looks a bit under construction at the moment…but that will change 🙂
